Photography tour

The pricing of the tours are for active photographers, see the table below. This means your non-photographer spouse / kids / friends can come for FREE.

Payment can be made in cash at the end of the photo tour.

Please note that although prices are listed in USD / EUR, you can also pay in Hungarian forints according to the current exchange rate.

I allow maximum 3 photographers per group, and the maximum number of the whole group should be 6 people. I want the tours to be as personal as possible. And my guiding skills and attention can’t be shared infinitely 🙂

I will pay for all the expenses on the tour (like taxis, public transportation), and in the end we can add it all up.

You can pay the whole amount in cash, at the end of our adventure.

What’s a tour like?

“Miklos delivered big time – he knows his city and his subject, and even though he’s a Canon shooter, he was more than able to offer me advice on settings for my Fujis.

But what made this tour special was that

a) he offered a local Food Tour first and

b) he allowed my wife to come along for the photography tour – at no extra charge.

He was solicitous at all times, making her feel extremely comfortable, answering all her questions – a perfect host.

Even if you are the ‘passenger’, non-paying, you’ll get a very different view of Budapest from the ‘ordinary’ daytime tours.

About the booking process

Please fill out the booking form below, by putting in your name and email address. Please make sure you write your email address correctly, otherwise I can’t contact you.

After this please pick your tour’s desired date.

My recommendation: if you’re staying in Budapest for more days, book the tour to the earliest day possible. This way, you’ll immediately have a great overlook on the city.

And more importantly, if the weather turns bad on the day you booked, you still have a spare day to go!

In the booking form you can also send me a personal message, tell me about yourself, your photography background, whatever you feel is important here.

After you click submit, you’ll be given automated email response, and at the same time redirected to another page, where I offer some tips about visiting Budapest.

Then later I’ll send a personal email myself.

We’ll talk about the details, we’ll pick where and when to meet.

No deposit or pre-payment is needed, but…

Maximum 1 week prior to the desired date, I will ask for written confirmation. If your booking is closer to the desired day, no problem at all, then I won’t need another confirmation.

Cancellation

I do NOT require a deposit or pre-payment, but I have a request for you.

My tours are very personal, meaning usually 1 or 2 guests at the same time.

Therefore if you book a tour with me, and your schedule changes, please inform me right away. So I can fill up that night with someone else.
